About KIZZI
Welcome! We’re happy you’re here because we are revolutionizing the experience of buying dance costumes by creating the most beautiful, comfortable costumes possible and, last but not least, providing the best customer service in the industry.
Sisters Kim and Liz founded KIZZI in 2015 in an effort to redefine dancewear. With daughters in competitive dance, they often found themselves searching for costumes that were both fashionable and tastefully designed. When they couldn’t find what they were looking for, they set out to build it themselves. Working with a local studio that is still their biggest customer today, Liz and Kim began to design and produce a line of fashion-forward dancewear. In the process, they learned how important a costume’s comfort, fit, and feel is to dancers and began to incorporate these principles into the design process. Our design team uses runway fashion for inspiration and sources premium fabrics intended to stand out while also feeling comfortable for any dancer. We focus on full coverage cuts, supportive bras, and a wide size range that enhances movement.
We’ve built our company on our family’s Texas values. All of our dancewear is developed in Austin, Texas. We take customer service seriously and do everything in our
power to meet deadlines and exceed your expectations.
We doubled down on our commitment to provide dancewear that is inclusive of all body shapes, sizes, and skin tones. You’ll notice in our line dancewear for all dancers, no matter their age or their gender.
We believe that dancers deserve to have costumes that are made to fit well, feel great, and enhance choreography.

KIZZI’s
Design Traditions
Our design team, led by founder Liz Willis, hand sketches every piece in the collection line. While most of our inspiration is drawn from runway trends in NY and LA, we love to include our internal team in the process, too. One of the high points every year is our Annual Design Challenge. As a team of creatives, it’s no surprise people from every department submit designs. Many of them show up in our line each season. We love collaborating with you and each other! Our judges include the leadership team, a guest dance professional, and KIZZI’s staff photographers. This year, we had over 50 designs submitted.
